The NY Times reports that the Big Three claim that the new emissions standards will lower their profits. Ignoring the fact that Toyota, Honda and others are doing much better than the Big Three because they are providing vehicles that are more fuel efficient - among other things.
A prophet once said, "Where there is no vision... the people perish." I'm thankful that Washington is now starting to provide a vision for a sustainable future, our future.
